Our Approach
The Brain Bridge team wants to support families as they navigate the educational landscape. While we are not special education lawyers and do not serve as official advocates for in-school meetings, we offer a range of supportive services to provide guidance and feedback based on our work with the student one-on-one. Our services are not provided in any official capacity, but rather as a resource to assist families in understanding their options and making informed decisions. If clients are looking for formal legal representation or advocacy services, we can help connect them with appropriate resources.
Tailored Support Services
Our Parent Support program is tailored to meet the specific needs of each family and student. Our services include:

Conducting thorough reviews of SST, 504, or IEP documentation and providing informed recommendations.

Participating as a supportive presence in school meetings with educators, counselors, or official 504 or IEP sessions.

Offering referrals to relevant resources or programs based on individual needs.

Assisting in the development of comprehensive action plans tailored for long-term academic success.

Providing expert guidance in critical school-related decisions such as selecting appropriate educational settings (private, public, small, large).

Facilitating communication and collaboration with therapists or psychiatrists involved in the student's care.

Offering oversight and clarification on procedural matters within the school system, including initiation of 504 or IEP processes and offering reassurance during the journey.
